Our Grand Opening is a week from tomorrow and we are so excited! We have parking near by but it is a little bit of a strike (car pooling advised.) I’m sure there’s a little work to be done after yesterday’s gluttony, I know I need it. I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving and got to spend some quality time with their family. The Grand opening is coming up on Dec. 5th Wods and bbq, it should be a fun day. There will be a donation box at the Grand Opening for a co-worker of mine Eric Wiggins whom has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and has not been able to work to support his wife and kids, any donation will be appreciated.

I just got back from the gym after doing today’s WOD with my friends Dan Hudson and Katie Ures. After the 1k row the heart rate never went down and with the combination of the cold air my lungs were taking a beating. The weight on the cleans and snatches were heavy enough to be challenging but at the same time we were able to keep a good pace. The pull ups were the most challenging part of the workout, having to be broken up into multiple sets. Dan and Katie did a great job pushing themselves the whole time through this tough WOD.
