We are a CrossFit training facility located in Carmichael, California. If you are brand new to CrossFit Methodology, we encourage you to do a little research both on our site and www.crossfit.com to find out what we are about. In a nutshell, we are trainers dedicated to Forging Elite Fitness. CrossFit workouts are comprised of constantly varied functional movements (pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, running) executed at a high intensity. We truly are for everyone and welcome anyone with a desire to be at an optimum level of fitness to come check us out.
Our classes are small. We have small classes because this allows for one on one attention and instruction. You are not lead in a workout, you are coached through a workout. We are training you to improve to the next level. What you are getting is not just a gym, it is personal training with a group discount! We also advise you on your diet. We encourage setting goals, tracking progress and raising the bar in an effort to have members truly thrive.
We have the ability to scale a workout to the individual whether you are a collegiate athlete or have never trained before. This allows a new member and a CrossFit veteran to complete the same workout with changes made to load and intensity. We are a community and family that sweats, suffers and laughs together while offering support and encouragement. We all check our egos at the door and truly desire the success of every member. CrossFit WILL deliver phenomenal results as a stand alone program or as a compliment to your sports specific training regimen.
Stompin’ Ground can and wants to train you. We want to train you because we know it works. We are proud of the fact that we are about as far from a standard gym as you can get. Some people like to go to the gym, but donʼt want to sweat or breathe hard. If they do, they need a shower and possibly a blow dryer afterwards. Sorry, not here. We donʼt have showers or blow dryers. We donʼt have walls lined with mirrors. No treadmills so you can walk next to your friend. We remember who you are and know how often you come (warning, we will call you). This does not appeal to some people. What we do have is a program that works. Work outs are short and to the point. They are intense and we encourage you to bring that intensity to every workout. We donʼt have all of the bells and whistles of the Globo gyms because we are about the workout, the community and camaraderie. Our coaches and participants are welcoming, supportive and committed to creating an environment where everyone can succeed.
